WELCOME TO
STYGIA
STYGIA
After more than one thousand years, Jugram Haschwalth dies.
He had always expected blankness, the vast expanse of nonexistence when his soul returned to Yhwach'sβnot whatever this is. The fact of the matter is that he's still conscious, physically healed of the wounds that ended him, in a place where nothing living seems to grow. There are dead bodies here, rotting with their limbs bent at unnatural angles; lava periodically erupts from boils in the hard earth. Some sort of massive salamander roves around the place in small groups, and judging by the wide berth the people who seem more comfortable in their surroundings give them, they're probably aggressive or poison to the touch or both.
It's not a pleasant environment, but His Majesty was gracious in allowing him to remain alive after his death, after Jugram failed him so egregiously. (Such is the only possible explanation for this turn of events, as far as he is concerned.)β

HINTERLANDS
β
Jugram's shadow manifests similarly to his shifts in personality when he wears the Mask of the Ruler in canon: malicious and smug, wrathful, condescending. His shadow also lacks some of the emotional stability and stable countenance his true self has, and is quickly driven to outbursts.
HARBORS
β
Jugram's tethers are as follows:
βThe cape button Bazz-B gave him about 1000 years ago, which he's held onto and kept attached to the hilt of his broadsword this entire time.
βSmall sculpture of Yhwach, the god/almighty being/military and cultural leader he serves.
βSmall sculpture of Bazz-B, the "ex"-friend he never truly moved on from and has been secretly looking out for over hundreds of years.

SHADOWLANDS
β
Jugram's personal door in the shadowlands leads to forest and meadow where he and Bazz trained to defeat Yhwach as youths, perpetually frozen in time on a sunny day in mid-spring. His tethers sit on a particularly broad stump at the border between wood and clearing; the landscape is a typical North European old growth forest.
SERENE
β
Jugram currently inhabits a smallish stone home he found abandoned in Serene upon his arrival — most of the broken windows have been replaced or at least covered, and he set to work on the cobwebs and dust as item number one on the agenda once he moved in. The furnishings are spartan, the decorations moreso: there are none.
HALE
β
As of Nov 2022, Jugram currently has in his possession:
β broadsword β freund schilde β bazz's cape pin (T) β sternritter cloak β standard uniform |
β statuette of bazz (T) β statuette of yhwach (T) β β β |
